I bought a 96 Savage a while ago. It only had 200 miles on it and it was in great condition. I loved everything about it. I customized it and threw some leather on it. I only had one problem with the bike. It sounded like a lawnmower.I really did feel like spending alot of money for a new exhaust pipe so I improvised. I called the local motorcycle shop and told him my problem. the man informed me that if I drilled a couple little holes in my baffle that it would make a big differece. I used a 3/4 drill bit and put 3 holes at the end of the pipe.I then started her up and I loved it. My bike began to sing.It backfires once in a while but to me it was worth it. I've rode in town before and people actually think its a Harley!
